Clayton Bay Riverside Holiday Park

Situated on the banks of the River Murray in South Australia’s lower lakes district, Clayton Bay Riverside Holiday Park is a tranquil, relaxing tourist destination. Located within the small, picturesque township of Clayton Bay, our park is located just over an hour’s drive south of Adelaide city.

The park is an ideal location for water based activities. The river and surrounding sheltered bays offer exceptional kayaking, canoeing, sailing, water-skiing and wake-boarding, or simply swimming or fishing.

Nature lovers will appreciate abundant bird life, stunning sunsets, waterside walking trails and the warmth of your own private campsite fire in the cooler months.

All caravan/camp sites are situated either directly on the riverfront or a mere stone’s throw from the water’s edge. The park offers a range of powered and un-powered sites, many with ample shade and all with green grass.

In addition to camp sites, the self-contained 5-birth Boatman’s cabin is spacious and light filled, offering stunning water views from both the main living area and large wooden deck.

Three onsite ‘retro’ caravans offer clean, comfortable and budget friendly accommodation.

Newly built in December 2019, the modern, well-equipped camp kitchen is not only a practical area for preparing and cooking meals, but also a wonderful space to socialize, play games, watch TV, or simply relax by the cozy fireplace.
