PS Industry Steaming Day – July

Moored on the majestic Renmark Riverfront, the Paddle Steamer Industry provides a reminder of bygone times on the Murray River.

Take the opportunity to experience an authentic paddle steamer with a scenic sixty-minute cruise onboard the historic vessel. Hear the unique sounds as the paddle wheels hit the water, the hiss of steam, the whistle from the wheelhouse and see the wood fire boiler being stoked.

The Industry steams at regular intervals throughout the year, including selected long weekends with cruises scheduled for Easter Saturday.

Bookings are essential either online or by contacting the Renmark Paringa Visitor Centre.

Once onboard, you will learn more about the vessel and its history with an informative commentary from the Captain, be able to chat with the passionate volunteers that operate and maintain the vessel, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and some biscuits and view a range of history with souvenirs available for purchase.
