Melbourne Greeter Service

Discover what locals love about Melbourne with a free two-to-four-hour walking orientation of the city, conducted by trained and enthusiastic volunteers.

Groups of up to four people can be accommodated.

Orientations are available in English daily (excluding Good Friday and Christmas Day) and other languages on specific days including Indonesian, Italian, French, German, Greek, Mandarin and Vietnamese. Orientations depart at 10am from the Melbourne Visitor Hub at Town Hall located on the corner of Swanston and Little Collins Streets.

Bookings are essential with at least 24 hours notice via email, phone or in person at the Melbourne Visitor Hub.
