This shopping strip has lots of choice with plenty of great coffee stops along the way. Some of Sydney’s best bookshops are here so spend some time exploring Gleebooks, Sappho Books and Cornstalk Bookshop that boasts 4000 hardback crime titles. Popular homeware shops, Ruby Star Traders and Orient House, are just off Glebe Point Road.

Glebe Markets are a Sydney institution, great for hand-made jewellery and fashion from up-and-coming designers. Don’t miss the Glass Artists’ Gallery which has some of the most beautiful pieces of contemporary glass art in Australia.
