Explore one of Perth’s most popular tourist attractions with Kings Park Free Guided Walks. Choose from one of several different walks that explore the spectacular 400 hectare park.
Take a walk through the Botanic Garden and learn about the unique flora of Western Australia and its resilience across such diverse environments. The wildflower display between July and October is spectacular. Guided walks take you deep into the park along various nature trails to view the unique native flora.
Discover the history of the park that was established in 1892 and visit the memorials which have been erected as a tribute to various significant people and events in Western Australia.
The free guided walks start at the park’s information centre at 10am or 1pm every day of the week. Whilst there, collect information about the many other attractions within the park.
Kings Park overlooks the city of Perth and the Swan River and offers magnificent panoramic views. It is a short five minute drive or 30 minute walk west of the city, and is also linked in on the free city bus service.
