We begin the day by photographing Australia’s oldest bridge at the picturesque town of Richmond. The next stop takes us down the peninsula to three bizarre geological rock formations in the Tasman National Park – Devil’s Kitchen, Tasman Arch and the Blow hole. The beauty of the surrounding area contrast the dark history of our main stop at Port Arthur.

Reconnect with nature and enjoy a breath taking drive through the Huon Valley to explore Hastings Cave and the Tahune Airwalk.
The drive to Australia’s largest tourist cave winds through quaint little towns with picturesque views of the Huon River. After the cave expedition we travel to walk amongst the trees at the Tahune Airwalk stopping on the way to taste the wonders of the Valley. On the drive home we stop at the Apple Shed Museum to discover the traditions behind the once thriving orchards of the region and sample local cider.

Explore Mt. Wellington and enjoy a ferry ride down the Derwent River to MONA – One of the world’s most controversial private collections of modern art and antiquities.
After viewing the panoramic views from the peak we follow some of the freshest drinking water down the mountain to see the oldest brewery in Australia (option of tour or shot tower – at own expense). From here we drive to the Royal Hobart Botanical Gardens before strolling the streets of Salamanca. We wander the waterfront and board a catamaran to the Museum of old and new art.

We start the day with a scenic drive through the Derwent Valley. Our first stop is at the historic Salmon Ponds to view fish breeding in all stages. We continue on to Mt. Field where Russell falls is the star attraction. It’s a short stroll underneath enormous fern forests and some of the world’s tallest trees. After the calming effects of the tranquil walks we visit a family owned vineyard. Their menu is fresh seasonal and based around ingredients from their fields and biodynamic vegetable garden.
