Tasmania’s most entertaining and informative tour from Hobart to Wineglass Bay in the Freycinet National Park, on Tasmania’s East Coast. Starting at your accommodation in Hobart we follow the Great Eastern Drive, stopping along the way to enjoy highlights such as Raspins Beach (Orford) and The Bark Mill (Swansea).

Your Tasmanian guide will entertain you with local tales and explain the rich history, features and industries of the area. Lunch is at Coles Bay, enjoy the freshest seafood Tasmania has to offer at the amazing Freycinet Marine Farm or choose from the wide selection at the local bakery, takeaway shop or supermarket.

With over four hours to explore Freycinet National Park, we’ll walk to the Wineglass Bay Lookout and enjoy one of the Top Ten Wilderness Beaches in the World. You then choose to continue down to the shimmering white sands of Wineglass Bay Beach or explore Honeymoon Bay and panoramic Cape Tourville. Swim, explore, relax, you decide!

On the way home, you can relax in your recliner seats and enjoy the DVD screens on our comfortable air-conditioned bus. You’ll be back in Hobart, delivered to your preferred drop-off location by 6.30 -7 pm.

Wineglass Bay & Freycinet National Park Walking Tour

From $105 to $115

The tour starts around 730am in Hobart and follows Tasmania’s Great Eastern Drive, stopping along the way to enjoy highlights such as Raspins Beach (Orford) – spectacular views of Maria Island, Bark Mill (Swansea) – morning tea.

Your Tasmanian guide will entertain you with local tales and explain the rich history, features and industries of the area.

We arrive at the holiday village of Coles Bay for an early lunch at about 11:30am. Enjoy fresh oysters and abalone from Freycinet Marine Farm or choose from the wide selection at the local shops. After lunch we enter Freycinet National Park and explore for about 4hrs, starting with a walk to the Wineglass Bay Lookout to view the world-famous Wineglass Bay. It is then your choice to walk to Wineglass Bay Beach (2hr return walk from the lookout), or return to travel by bus to Cape Tourville and Honeymoon Bay or Sleepy Bay.

We regroup in the afternoon with an ice cream/drink/fuel stop and then return to Hobart. On the way home you can relax and enjoy the DVD screens on our comfortable air conditioned bus. You’ll be back in Hobart by 6:30-7pm.
