Stuff!

Behind every collection or pile of Stuff! is a collector moved by the secrets or human stories which accompany each object?

In the exhibition Stuff!, librarians, behind-the-scenes administrators or seasoned historians select items from the collection that resonated strongly with them. The result is a deeply personal and surprising scrapbook of Western Australian history.

Family histories, beer-splattered rock posters, Walmajarri language children’s books, and centuries-old French maps all sit side by side in a celebration of the Stuff! that gives State Library staff a kick.
