Dark Mofo – Redding the Sails Midwinter Tall Ship Sailing

The Redding the Sails Midwinter Tall Ship Sailing experience on the Lady Nelson is one of the standout Dark Mofo events on offer.

What better way to enjoy a mid winter evening than under red lit sails on Hobart’s iconic square-rigged tallship, The Lady Nelson .

Enjoy live music on board with warming soup and a roll provided and complemented with your own choice of BYO drinks and food.

Three different musical events featuring Clover Hitch on the first sailing night then the Stranded Wailers and finishing on the third sailing night with River Bigby.

Settle back and enjoy the music and the sight of a midwinter Dark Mofo Hobart from the water or help sail the ship and chat with the crew who sail and maintain this amazing historical replica of the original Lady Nelson that brought the first settlers to Hobart in 1803 .

Sailings leave the Elizabeth St Pier (outside T42 and Fish Frenzy) at 6pm and return at 8pm.
