Darwin International Jazz & Arts Festival

Skinnyfish Music presents the Darwin International Jazz & Arts Festival celebrating culture, arts and music brought together for one night in July – the Dinidjanggama (heavy dew season) of Garramilla, Gulumoerrgin, Larrakia country.

Come and enjoy international, national and local musical acts over six hours of entertainment and improvisation.

Artists include the internationally renowned Vince Jones and Band; award-winning Australian pianist/composer Charlie Chan; special guest writer/author/cartoonist Michael Leunig performing, speaking, and painting live; the Darwin Symphony Orchestra String Quartet with song man Archer and blues artist Kankawa (Olive Knight); Charlie Chan’s Music For Dogs experience; international artists from Timor Leste, Taiwan and Bali; with more to be announced!

The Festival will takeover the entirety of the Centre becoming an indoor/outdoor festival setup, ending in an ‘under the stars’ experience with the sounds of different cultures and mainstream established artists all sharing in a celebration of this country, in a unique environment.
