Mechanics Institute is a small bar – access is via a rear laneway between James Street and Francis Street next door to State Library of Western Australia and City of Perth Parking Car Park.

Their rooftop terrace looks back over the cultural precinct and the city skyline.

They offer a selection of cocktails (changed daily), craft beer and artisan wine from around Australia and the world.
