South Bank Visitor Information Centre

Are you visiting South Bank or Brisbane? Before you arrive, feel free to contact the Visitor Information Centre for a local’s advice on what to see and where to stay.

The team can provide a wealth of knowledge on the South Bank precinct and also offers a free booking service, including reservations for accommodation, tours, cruises and transfers, plus theme park ticket sales and discounted tickets for Wheel of Brisbane.

Over the counter Queensland National Parks vehicle and camping permits are available to purchase and we are also an Agent for Greyhound Australia and various other popular day tour companies.

The team can also assist with precinct event information, free maps and brochures; restaurant and dining at South Bank and wheelchair, stroller and specialty pool and beach wheelchair hire for those wishing to take a dip at Streets Beach.

The fully accredited Visitor Information Centre is located in the heart of the South Bank Parklands in Stanley Street Plaza, between Max Brenner Chocolate Shop and The Plough Inn. The nearest cross street is Ernest Street.

The South Bank Visitor Information Centre is currently open:

Monday to Sunday – 9.00am to 5.00 pm
