Experience an exciting night time tour with stargazing, delicious dessert at a local restaurant and a fully guided rainforest walk to the waterfall. This is a great tour for you to discover the bio-network of a rainforest and to experience nocturnal wildlife spotting.
With the knowledge of your guide, discover the lush forests of the Mount Tamborine National Park and spot native nocturnal wildlife. Everyone has a flashlight to light the walkway. At the end of the trail emerges Curtis Falls, a subtropical waterfall and habitat to the stars of the show, the ever fascinating, glow worms.
This tour is not just about the Glow Worms in their natural environment but the journey to them.

Visit the stunning Natural Arch waterfall on a fully guided walk led by your expert local guide. Learn about the unique flora and fauna of the rainforest as you make your way through the forest to the waterfall. From inside the cave witness the unique and magical sight of water cascading through the roof of the basalt cave which has been formed over millions of years.
Continuing the tour, Best of All Lookout offers a sweeping view across the valley from the Gold Coast to Byron Bay and Mount Warning. The walk to this magnificent lookout takes you through one of the few remaining pockets of ancient Antarctic beech forest, a link to the ancient forests of Gondwana.
Enjoy snacks with a cold drink before heading to the nearby viewing platform to see the majestic Purling Brook Falls. Take in the views of Twin Falls and Rainbow Falls from Canyon Lookout on the way home.

Your day begins with a relaxed drive through the Canungra Valley. Take a brief stop in Canungra where you can purchase a hot beverage. Their next stop is Kamarun lookout which provides stunning 300-degree views, from the Gold Coast to Brisbane. Refreshments are offered before continuing the journey from the valley floor to the summit of World Heritage-listed Lamington National Park, part of the largest continuous, subtropical rainforest anywhere on earth.
Upon arrival at O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat, your guide will explain O’Reilly’s amazing history including the Stinson plane crash.
