Apple Tree Park

Apple Tree Park is located on the Springbrook range. The park itself is a quiet, sheltered, lovely little park, with an amenities building, barbecues and picnic tables.

Most days you will find birdlife such as kookaburras resting on the arms of nearby trees. Just stop and listen to the wildlife and hear the wind whistling through the leaves.

Apple Tree Park is the mid-way point for the Gold Coast Hinterland Great Walk, a 54 kilometre trek through the beautiful Springbrook rainforest. However, you don’t have to trek that far to visit Apple Tree Park you can access the park via Pine Creek Road and there is a walk that connects this park with Woonoongoora Walkers Camp, a 1.9 kilometre trek through often steep terrain and 900 steps where you can still take in the great views and tranquility of the rainforest. Pack your walking shoes, a hat and drink bottle and enjoy!
