Cairns ZOOM and Wildlife Dome

The world’s first Challenge Ropes Course in a wildlife exhibit, Cairns ZOOM & Wildlife Dome is an all-weather experience, conveniently located in the Cairns City.

From ziplining over a crocodile to taking in sensational views whilst walking the exterior of the Dome, our range of exciting and exhilarating ZOOM Activities offer fun for the whole family! Enjoy a high ropes adventure on the Mid-ZOOM and Hi-ZOOM with over 65 elements of crossings and ziplines, or defy gravity on the 13m Power Jump.

Internal elevated walkways offer a unique birds-eye view of the layout of the Dome, then step outside the glass walls (and your comfort zone) for the external Dome-Climb. Offering spectacular views of the city, the Coral Sea, and the surrounding landscapes, it’s an experience not to be missed.

Home to many of Australia’s most well-known animals, our large range of diverse wildlife includes crocodiles, lizards, turtles, snakes, koalas, and other mammals, and over 200 birds. Learn more about them in the various educational presentations regularly throughout the day. Explore our many exhibits, including our small bird aviary and reptile enclosures, all while tropical birds fly above your head throughout the Dome. Wildlife photos are also available.
