Coral Expeditions – Pristine Tasmania – 7 Nights
Things To Do Bungalow, Cairns, Queensland
Coral Expeditions is Australia’s pioneering expedition cruise company now operating for 34 years. Travellers from all over the world come to us to enjoy our relaxed small ship atmosphere and itineraries to remote and unique locations which larger ships cannot replicate.
Our Tasmanian season starts by following the Sydney-Hobart Yacht Race departing 26 DEC 2019 arriving into Hobart for New Years Eve celebrations with the winners.
Our 7-night Pristine Tasmania expedition then operates JAN-MAR each year. Coral Discoverer taking up to 72 guests takes you to stunning pristine locations including the untouched South West wilderness of Port Davey and Bathurst Harbour. Expedition highlights include Maria Island with convict history and an abundance of native wildlife, sail past the 300m high dolerite sea cliffs at Tasman National Park, spot fur seals on the Isle de Phoques, hike scenic Fluted Cape at Bruny Island and indulge in delicious Tasmanian produce and local wines.
We have two departures a year “Coastal Treks of Tasmania” that focus on more adventurous coastal tracks for the serious hikers.
Experienced and knowledgeable Expedition Leaders and Guest Lecturers add an additional layer of education and interest to each journey. All excursions are included.
