Hawkesbury River Rural Campground

The 350 acres comprise of native bushland, riverside mangroves, and cleared pastures.

It is completely surrounded by the Marramarra National Park. The property dates back to early English settlement and is entwined into the Hawkesbury’s rich history.

There are a number of activities that can be experienced on the farm including kayaking, bushwalking, fishing, crabbing (in warmer months), and boating to name a few.

This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower and drive 4WD or AWD vehicles, now that is only a recommendation. 2WD vehicles do come along our road but I have peace of mind knowing I’ve highlighted my concerns. 

We do have toilets and warm showers available if needed up at the farm cottage which opens at 8am and closes at 10pm. Arriving by boat or taxi is an option also, as there are a number of water taxi services from Brooklyn that will ferry you to the campground at a cost.

The beauty of our campsites is you are totally on your own which enhances the rural experience, with the river on one side and the cliffs on the other it truly does give you the feeling of being alone with nature.

We supply fishing gear and crab pots for a small cost, but bring your own bait for both. We also offer a AUD10 cow feeding experience which the kids love, in fact everyone does.
