April to October is the peak season. When planning your trip to the Longreach Region, please be mindful that bookings are essential for all museums, tours and accommodation.
During our off peak season November to March they experience high temperatures and low visitor numbers, some of the attractions, tours cease to run, contact the Explore Centre to enquire about attractions and tours that are open.
